DISTINCTION 

At age 16 veneers are not appropriate (in my opinion) for this type of situation.   Artistic conservative bonding is the best solution leaving the enamel untouched. The life span of this type of bonding is 5-10 years. More definitive restorations such as porcelain veneers or crowns can be completed after 21.
